Iceland for You is a brand of Lilja Tours, a registered tour operator and travel agency in Iceland, and operates under its license. Iceland for You specializes in small group day tours throughout Iceland.
Our registered head office is at Hólabraut 15, Hafnarfjörður, Iceland.
Iceland for You operates in compliance with the EU Package Travel Directive. All payments towards services that fall under this EU law are safeguarded with insurance protection that guarantees you a refund in the unlikely event of insolvency.
Iceland for You operates in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for consumers.
General Terms and Conditions
Iceland for You reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without notice.
Before making a reservation with Iceland for You, we encourage you to read these Terms and Conditions carefully. They constitute a contractual agreement between Iceland for You / Lilja Tours and you, from the time the booking is made.
The person who makes the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all the people in the group and is responsible for all payments due. By submitting a booking, you confirm to us that you will be bound by these arrangements.
Bookings
Once you have submitted your booking and personal details through our booking system, you will receive a confirmation of your booking via email.
All day tour bookings require full payment at the time of booking. No deposits are accepted.
Most bookings are confirmed instantly. One of our travel consultants will contact you within 24 hours to confirm final details of your tour if necessary.
If for any reason our travel consultant is unable to obtain confirmation due to circumstances beyond our control, an alternative tour date will be offered. If you do not accept the alternative or Iceland for You is not able to offer you an alternative, you are entitled to cancel with a full refund.
Booking services with Iceland for You are available only to persons aged 18 years and older. Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
By submitting a booking, you warrant and confirm to us that you will be bound by these arrangements.
Travel Documents
Your travel documents will be delivered to you via email once your booking is confirmed. Those travel documents include all information you need for your tour, including meeting point details, itinerary, and emergency contact information.
Terms of Payment
Day Tours: Full payment is required at the time of booking.
We accept payments via Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, JCB, Discover, UnionPay, and Diners.
All prices quoted on Iceland for You are in Icelandic Króna (ISK) and per person, unless otherwise specified. All payments and refunds are due in Icelandic Króna.
Iceland for You is not responsible for any changes in currency exchange rates that might occur from the time of booking until a refund is made.
Validity of Prices
All prices mentioned on this site include VAT (value-added tax) at the current Icelandic rate.
Iceland for You reserves the right to alter or change already published prices on the website without notice, in the event of any cost increases out of Iceland for You's control. These could include events like currency fluctuation and government taxes.
If a day tour is canceled due to circumstances outside our control, or minimum numbers are not reached, we will refund the money you have paid. Iceland for You shall then have no further liability towards you.
Cancellation of Day Tours
If you cancel a day tour you have booked with Iceland for You, you will receive a refund as set out in the table below:

Extraordinary Events
Iceland for You reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries, or departure times without prior notice should this be necessary due to weather or other events that are beyond Iceland for You's control.
In the event that your tour is canceled due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances in Iceland, which make it impossible to travel safely to your destination (such as severe weather conditions, volcanic activity, significant risk to human health, natural disaster, etc.), a full refund will be issued in accordance with the EU Package Travel Directive.
Amendments
If you need to make an amendment to your booking, you must notify us via email at least 48 hours before your tour departure date. We will do our best to make the changes, but it may not always be possible. All changes are subject to availability.
For amendments, we may charge up to ISK 5,000 per person depending on the nature of the change. Please note that amendments may not be possible within 24 hours of departure.
Cancellations
Notification of cancellations: If you need to cancel your booking, please email and call us as soon as possible.
Your email should be sent to info@iceland-for-you.com. Our office hours are Sunday, 7:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m. (Icelandic time). Please contact us on +354 7643715 during these hours to cancel your tour.
If you need to cancel a tour departing in less than 24 hours and are unable to reach us during office hours, please send us an email or a message on Whatsapp, we will answer as soon as possible.
Discount Codes
Discount codes supplied by Iceland for You cannot be transferred or sold. They are valid for the specified product only and cannot be combined with other offers, discounts, or promotions. Each discount code can be used only once per customer unless otherwise stated.
All discount codes have an expiration date and must be used before this date. Expired codes will not be accepted. Iceland for You reserves the right to cancel or modify discount codes at any time.
To redeem your discount code, you must enter it at checkout and apply it to your booking. Discount codes are only applicable on specified products and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit.
Iceland for You cannot apply discount codes retrospectively to previous purchases. If you require a refund on a tour purchased using a discount code, the refund amount will be adjusted to reflect the discount applied.
Liability
Once you book with Iceland for You, you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. Iceland for You acts in good faith and cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, accidents, sickness or schedule changes caused by weather or road conditions, force majeure such as natural catastrophes, strikes or any other irregularities beyond the control of Iceland for You.
Personal belongings are at the owner's risk throughout the tour. We advise all clients to take out comprehensive travel insurance cover, as clients participate in tours at their own risk.
All information provided by Iceland for You is subject to change and we reserve the right to correct any mistakes that may appear on our website or promotional materials. These general booking conditions are subject to change and we reserve the right to update these conditions without notice.
Travel Insurance
Please note that travel insurance is not included in the tour price and all medical costs and other costs involved must be paid in full by you.
We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to your tour departure. Having this insurance will help cover any unexpected costs or circumstances that may arise.
Complaints
Our main goal is to provide you with excellent service. If you are not satisfied with your tour for any reason, we would like to hear about it. We recommend you contact us as soon as any incident occurs during your tour.
All complaints must reach Iceland for You within 8 days of your tour completion. Any complaints received after this time are not eligible for compensation.
We will investigate all complaints promptly and respond within 14 days of receipt. Our goal is to resolve any issues to your satisfaction within this timeframe.
